The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarship award is a completely funded scholarship. This opportunity is offered to students who want to embark on undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Germany. The funding will cover a monthly basic allowance of a sum of EUR 850, health insurance expense, and where applicable, family and baby stipends are funded.

Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarship will sponsor about 40 excellent students which includes a comprehensive seminar program to help improve the applicants’ social capabilities and academic abilities. Students in any subject region are eligible to apply if they display exceptional academic merit, desire to study in Germany, and are devoted to the values of social democracy.

  • Expenses for health insurance are sponsored and scholars with a child are entitled to a family stipend of EUR 276.
  • The award would not have to be repaid.
